Automation pulls seed + best-effort checks of major OEM public sites (Cat, Develon, Deere, Peterbilt, Ford, …). Brand-new models get default year = current year. Live HTML is best-effort (OEM sites change / JS-render). After unlock, scroll here for Sync all brands, lineage, add model, and specs DB.

Brand availability (all manufacturers)

Every brand is year-aware for model years 2000+: (1) exclusive renames (Daewoo→Doosan→Develon, Gehl→Manitou, …) and (2) catalog model year windows — a make only appears if it had machines that year.

Add model by equipment type

Add any missing designation for model years 2000 and newer. Year window is clipped to the brand’s trade-name era when lineage applies. Optionally pull specs immediately after save.

Equipment specs database

Pulls published specs (RitchieSpecs public model pages + future mfg sources) into Postgres. Historical window: model years 2000+. Shop users open Specs on a unit for year/make/model details (range-matched when exact year sheet is missing).
